Welcome to our Women's Self-Defence Seminar!

As women, we all want to feel safe and confident in any situation we find ourselves in. Unfortunately, the reality is that violence against women is still a very real issue in our society. That's why we are excited to offer a self-defence seminar for women like you who want to learn how to protect themselves and feel more empowered.

Our seminar is by donation, with all proceeds going to the Downtown Eastside Women's Centre. This means that not only will you be learning important skills, but you'll also be supporting a great cause.

The focus of our seminar is on situational awareness - learning how to identify potential danger and avoid it before it becomes a threat. We'll also be teaching effective techniques for fighting out of grabs and holds, creating distance, and getting to safety. While realistically the likelihood of incapacitating an attacker is low, we want to emphasize that fighting back is always an option, and with the techniques we'll be teaching, it is 100% possible for a woman to defend herself and get away safely.

Our instructors are experienced and knowledgeable, with a passion for helping women feel more confident and secure. You'll leave our seminar feeling empowered and ready to take on any situation that comes your way.

So what are you waiting for? Sign up for our free women's self-defence seminar today and take the first step towards feeling more confident and empowered in your daily life.
