APP Reveal Part 1: How We Are Solving the Fragmentation Problem

In this video you'll hear stories from the founders about their love and history with jiu jitsu, and their approach to one common struggle in training the art. To put it briefly, after many years of training, Min-ju took a break from jiu jitsu then got his butt kicked by a young punk named Tuna. This motivated him to learn better, faster.  Since then Tuna has kicked some more butts in tournaments and gained almost a decade worth of teaching experience. They've been talking and thinking of the most efficient ways to train.

Do you recognize the "Fragmentation Problem" in your own training? Does being aware of it help you think about the way you learn?

Videos 2 and 3 will be coming out soon.  In those we'll talk about two more common problems you have probably experienced, whether you're new or have had a lot of time on the mat.

In the mean time, comment below to let us know what you think of this first look, or let us know about your biggest struggle with training jiu jitsu.

Love hearing about what brought you three to where you are now!
Since coming back after a long layoff, similar to Tuna, I found myself writing out flow charts on paper trying to put things together but often they became too convoluted or visually hard to follow. I’m excited to play around with the app and see what combinations flow together!

Absolutely!  Glad you are excited about what you see and can't wait to have you using the APP!

This is exciting, I’ve always tried different ways to organize what I’ve learned. I’ve done flow charts but sometimes I would forget how a technique would go, rendering an entire branch useless. This looks really promising.

Exactly!  Don't get too excited though, you ain't seen nothing yet!  Wait til you see Part 2!

So awesome  can't wait :)

I’ve often struggled to remember the sequences that I learn in class or discover when drilling; single moves alone have so much detail and there’s so many ways of executing that single move. This app completely changes that, and coupled with the visual demos for each section - it’s a game changer!

The app reveal looks great! I used to be diligent about note-taking after class but as days got busier I let that habit drop. This is a good reminder to get back in to it. It looks like a really useful tool to work strategy, details and your game while off the mat. Looking forward to the release!
